EQUINOX  MEDIA  BLASTERS

POOL TILE CLEANING AND POLISH
Step 1 - Lower Pool Level Approx. 6 to 12"
Step 2 - Media Blasting
Media blasting is the safest, most effective and environmentally friendly way to clean pool tile and Pebble Tec.  Equinox technicians use a very soft mineral (PF2) under water pressure to safely remove calcium, mold, mildew, algae and other deposits from your pool tile surface.  Also, for your harder surfaces such as Pebble Tec or rock, we use a more aggressive mineral (PT2) to achieve amazing results.  Minerals are harder than calcium yet softer than glass or ceramic tile.  We blast the calcium free and literally polish your tile in the same process.
no glass beads
no acid or harsh chemicals
no pumice stone scratches
no ph changes in pool water
safe for plants and animals, and people too.
Step 3 - Vacuum Pool
Equinox technicians use our patented high volume pump and water filter to extract all calcium and debris from your pool.  At this time, we refill your pool to the proper level.  Equinox takes pride in all of our tile jobs, so as an added bonus we would like to leave you with a  sanitized pool deck  utilizing a 200 Degree power washer, at no additional cost.  If you choose Equinox Pool Service, you will be glad you did!
For Your Information

Note:

Most average size pools take 3 to 5 hours to complete, depending on the severity of the hard water and calcium deposits and the number of water features, ie. water falls, slides, spa tile, and even water statues.
Note:

Quality of your water determines how quickly calcium and other deposits accumulate on the surfaces of your pool. On average it can be as soon as six months to a year. We suggest a tile cleaning and polish every couple of years plus normal weekly tile maintenance to keep   your tile looking as new as the day it was installed!

Note:

Pool water will be cloudy for about 12 to 24 hours depending on your pool's equipment and turn over rate. We like to check back the next day to make sure your pool is functioning properly, by phone or visit if needed.
